How to make Ambalapuzha Pal Payasam?


Milk: 2ltr
Ghee: 1tsp
Sugar: 2cup
Raw rice: 125gm (washed & drained)
Water: 1ltr
Tulsi Leaves

Method of Making:

1) Melt 1tsp ghee in a thick bottom pan and add 1ltr water.
2) Let the water boils and add whole milk.
3) Stir continuously till the milk thickens(till water absorbs)
4) Add rice and cook in medium heat.
5) When the rice cooks 3/4th, add sugar and mix well.
6) When rice is fully cooked, switch off stove and put tulsi leaves.
7) Let it cool at room temperature before serving.
