Chinese Beef & Cumin Stir Fry (Asian Style Cooking Recipe)

Welcome to my Asian kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei and my goal is to make your cooking simple and exciting. Ever since my Mother showed me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and learn new Chinese recipes.

500g Semi-Frozen Beef
2 Leeks
4 Cloves Garlic
4 to 6 Chilli Peppers
4 Slices Ginger
1 Tbsp Ground Coriander
1 Tbsp Ground Cumin
1 Tsp White Pepper
Salt to Taste

1. Finely slice the leeks
2. Finely chop the ginger & garlic
3. Thinly slice the chilli peppers
4. Slice the semi-frozen beef into very thin slices
5. Once the beef has thawed out, you’re ready to start cooking
6. Heat 2 tbsp of the oil in a wok on high heat till smoking
7. Add the garlic, ginger and chilli peppers, stir fry for a few seconds
8. Add the beef and stir fry on a high heat for 2 minutes
9. Add the cumin, coriander and white pepper, fry for another 2 minutes
10. Add the leeks, Stir fry for a minute & add salt to taste
11. Transfer to a dish, serve and enjoy
