Chinese Shrimp & Noodle Salad (Chinese Style Recipe)

Welcome to Xiao’s Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei and my goal is to make your cooking simple and exciting. Ever since my Mother showed me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia, in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and learn new Chinese recipes.

Ingredients:
150g Cooked Shrimps
150g Chard or Celery
50g Vermicelli Noodles
1 Spring Onion
3 Cloves Garlic
1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
1 Tbsp Vinegar
2 Tbsp Sesame Sauce
Salt to Taste

Method:
Soak the vermicelli noodles in warm water for 20 minutes till soft then drain
Finely chop the garlic
Finely chop the spring onion
Blanch the chard for 3 – 4 minutes
Remove, drain and place under cold water for 2 minutes
Thinly slice the chard and place in mixing bowl
Add the shrimps, noodles, sesame oil, Vinegar & soy sauce
Add the sesame sauce, garlic, spring onion, sugar & salt
Then mix ingredients together
Transfer to a dish and serve
