Required Ingredients
1. Fresh coconut roughly chopped – 100 gm
2. Roasted Chan Dal – 2 tbsp
3. Green Chilli – 2 nos
4. Ginger – ½ Inch
5. Salt to taste
6. Mustard Seeds – ½ tsp
7. Cumin Seeds – ½ tsp
8. Asafetida – 1 Pinch
9. Red Chilii Whole – 1
10. Curry Leaves – 7-10
11. Oil – 2 tbsp
12. Water 3 tbsp
Method
1. In a blender jai, add coconut, Roasted chana dal, Ginger, Green Chilli, salt, and water.
2. Grind to make smooth paste.
3. Remove Chutney into a bowl.
4. If required, adjust chutney consistency, by adding more water.
5. Mix it wel.
6. Heat the pan, add oil 1 tbsp on medium flame.
7. Once the oil is hot add mustard seed, cumin seeds, dal, curry leaves.
8. Allow them to splutter for 15 sec.
9. Then add Broken red chilli end hing.
10. Mix wel & turn off the flame.
11. Pour tadka in to chutney bowl & mix it wel.
12. That’s all Coconut chutney is ready. Enjoy!!!
