INDIAN SCOTCH EGGS-NARGISI KOFTA RECIPE-KHEEMA WRAPPED BOILED EGGS
Kheema 300 gms
Onions 1 cup
Green chillies ½ cup
Coriander leaves ½ cup
Salt 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Garam masala ½ tsp
Chickpea flour ½ cup
Oil for deep frying
Bread crumbs or corn flakes 1 cup
To prepare Scotch Eggs, hard boil eggs and de-shell them. For the kheema mixture, add kheema into the mixie jar along with chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves, some salt, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, garam masala, chick pea flour and grind them all into a coarse mixture.
Break an egg into a bowl and beat it well. Take the kheema mixture, pat it well and place a boiled egg in it and cover it with the kheema mixture. Dip it in the beaten egg mixture and roll it on the bread crumbs.
Deep fry these egg-kheema Scotch Eggs and serve them hot with some tomato sauce.
