Italian Potato Pizza Recipe | w/ KitchenAid Pizza Dough

In this video of Piatto, we demonstrate how to make a classic Italian Potato Pizza recipe with onions and rosemary. If you love onion pizza, you’ll love it even more with potatoes and rosemary!

For this potato pizza recipe you will need one homemade pizza dough. We recommend our Kitchenaid pizza dough recipe: Of course, you can use any brand of stand mixer that comes with a dough hook.

This is an authentic Italian pizza recipe that is both vegetarian and vegan.

TIP: After grating the potatoes, add them immediately to an ice bath. This prevents oxidation and removes some of the starchiness from the potato, resulting in crispier potatoes.

TIP: To grate the potatoes, feel free to use a food processor. Here, we’ve used our Kenwood food processor!

INGREDIENTS for ITALIAN POTATO PIZZA recipe

Potatoes – 2 yellow potatoes, coarsely grated (shredded).
Onions – 2 white or yellow onions, thinly sliced
Fresh Rosemary – 3-4 sprigs
Salt – to taste
Pepper – to taste
Extra Virgin Olive Oil – generously drizzle
