Lunch menu south indian recipes prepared for you by my aunt. This lunch menu includes Goruchikkudu Fry & Mulakkada Palakura Curry.

The recipes are provided below

Lunch Curry 1 – Goruchikkudu Fry or Cluster Beans Fry

Saute mustard seeds (avalu), urad dal (minapappu), bengal gram or chana dal (senagapappu), garlic (velluli)

Boil chopped cluster beans( goruchikkudu)

Add curry leaves ( karepaku / karepatta)

Add boiled cluster beans( goruchikkudu)

Add crushed garlic + jeera (cumin seeds)

Add Red Chilli Powder

Lunch Recipe 2 – Mulakkada Palakura Curry or Drumsticks Milk Curry

Boil Drumsticks in boiling water for 1 min
Saute mustard seeds (avalu), urad dal (minapappu), bengal gram or chana dal (senagapappu)
Add chopped onions
Add green chillis
Add boiled Drumsticks or Mulakkai

Let it saute on sim till reddish brown

Add ginger garlic paste, salt red chilli powder a little water

Let it simmer

Add milk and let it condense

Both curries can be served over white steamed rice or chapati ( roti)
