Preparation Time:40 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Butter 2 Tbsp
Onion medium sized 1
Tomato medium sized 2-3
Water 1 Cup
Salt to taste
Pav Bhaji Masala 1 tbsp
Turmeric (Haldi) 1 tsp
Red chilli powder (mirch) 1-2 tsp
Boiled and mashed Potato 1 cup
Boiled and mashed peas 1 cup
Coriander leaves to garnish (Optional)
Step 1: Boil and mash potatoes and set aside. Boil peas and set aside.
Step 2: Heat a pan and add butter, once it melts add onion, fry onions till it turns translucent.
Step 3: Add ginger garlic paste and saute.
Step 4: Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Add tomatoes and capsicum. Add little water and allow it to cook in low flame for 5 minutes.
Step 5: Add mashed potatoes and peas, salt, pav bhaji masala and water. Cook in medium flame for 10 minutes.
Step 6: Smash all the veggies and garnish with coriander and butter.
Step 7: Heat butter in a pan and fry the pav.
Your delicious Pav Bhaji is ready to serve.
