Tired of having Oats the usual way, try these super healthy no bread oats Toast. Made just with Oats they can also become a part of your Weight Loss Diet. Like overnight oats you can do your preparation at night before and next morning they will be ready in just 5 minutes. These oats toasts make for a perfect healthy and delicious breakfast and lunch for kids as wel.
Ingredients to make no bread oats Toast :-
1 Cup Oats 1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped tomatoes 1 cup chopped carrots
1 cup fresh Corns 1 cup chopped Capsicum
1 tsp Cumin seeds 2 tsp Olive oil
Salt to taste 2 tbsp Besan/chickpeas flour
1 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp dry mango powder
1 tsp chilli flakes 1 tsp origano
1/2 tsp turmeric Water as required
Method to make no bread oats Toast:-
In a pan heat 1 tsp olive oil & add 1 tsp Cumin seeds, Once cumin seeds starts to crackle, Add 1 cup chopped onion & let them cook.
Add 1 cup chopped tomatoes & cook until they are soft, add 1 chopped green chilli
Add all the vegetables in the pan & let them cook for few minutes (don’t overcook).
Add salt, coriander powder & mixed spices, stir everything together.
Add 1 cup quick Oats & combine it with the semi-cooked vegetables
Gradually Add 1 glass water, continue stirring. Once Cooked switch off the flames & let it cool down slightly.
Take out the cooked Oats on a greased tray, press & spread evenly. Use the back of a spoon to spread it nicely around the corners .
Keep it in the fridge overnight to set
In a bowl add 2 tbsp Besan, salt to taste, Cumin powder, amchur, Chilli flakes, origano & coriander powder. Gradually add water & make a thin batter
Cut the set cooked Oats into squares with the help of a knife.
Dip one square cut piece into the batter & place on a hot pan to cook
