Penne arrabbiata – Italian recipe. Tasty Foods
Penne arrabbiata is a famous Italian recipe, a spicy hot pasta dish, easy and quick to prepare.

INGREDIENTS ( for 1 person):
2 – fresh tomatoes.
2 – fresh garlic cloves.
1 tbsp – Basil leaves.
(dried/fresh – chopped).
Salt as per taste.
½ tsp – pepper.
PASTA & GRAINS:
1 cup – penne pasta.
HERBS & SPICES:
½ tbsp. – red chilli flakes/powder.
1 – grated dry cheese.
(any type but not cheddar)
OIL & VINEGARS:
3 tsp – Olive oil.
1 cup – water.
STEP BY STEP:
-pour a cup of water and cover the lid.
-bring water to boil.
-add 1 tsp kosher salt.
-add penne pasta.
-let the pasta get cooked but make sure don’t over cook.
IN THE MEANWHILE,
-put one fresh pan on fire.
-pour olive oil in the pan.
-wait for 2 mins.
-now lower the flame.
-add garlic to it, you can see how they are dancing now 😉
-before it gets burnt, just bring it to light golden brown on one side.
-add chilli flakes.
-then add tomatoes.
-keep frying till tomatoes gets tender/soft and let it soak all the flavours of chilli and garlic.
-now your pasta in another pan must have cooked fully.
-drain water and add in the frying pan and let it bath with all the flavours of chilli, garlic &
-add fresh basil leaves.
-serve hot on a plate.
-sprinkle dry grated cheese and enjoy ITALIAN 😉
