This Slow Cooker Irish Stew is the Perfect Winter Warmer

This is our Slow cooker Irish Stew, or “stobhach gaelach”. Traditionally Irish Stew is made with Lamb or Mutton, potatoes, carrots and onions. Many recent recipes have included pearl barley, so we have followed their lead but surprisingly, along with the potato, it created a delicious sauce to go nicely with the soft Lamb.

Slow Cooker Featured:

Serves: 3-4
Cooking Time: 6 Hours
Setting: LOW

700g Diced Stewing Lamb (Preferably Neck)
1 Potato
1 Onion
1 Carrot
4-5 Spring Onions
1 Handful of Parsley
1 Bunch of chives
1 Chicken Stock Pot
1 Teaspoon of Garlic Puree
120g Pearl Barley
