VEGAN CHILI with Textured Soy Proteins – Easy recipe

For 4 persons

1 cup vegetable broth
3/4 cup soy textured proteins (tvp)

1 onion
1 green pepper
1/2 tbsp chili pepper powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cilantro leaves
1 tsp cumin powder
2 cups non cooked black beans
1 can 15 oz diced tomatoes
1 can 15 oz tomatoes sauce
salt and pepper (to taste)

1) Start to re-hydrate the tvp with the vegetable broth, and make
sure black beans has been cooked

2) Dice onion and green pepper, add the chili pepper powder and
let them brown 5 to 7 mins with some olive oil

3) Add the tvp, cilantro, cumin, garlic and cayenne pepper, and let
brown 5 mins more

4) Add the black beans, tomatoes diced can, tomatoes sauce can,
salt and pepper

5) Let simmer 30 mins ( 45 mins is better)

Add some fresh cilantro or persley, and you are done !!!
