Looks sooo good!!
Looks Delish!
We make this dish in Egypt too but in a easier way.
Takes about twenty minutes total to cook the sauce and the eggs!
yummy!
It’s pronounced “Shack-Shook-Aah”.. Just saying 🙂
I am from middle east and this is not how shakshoka is maid.
Very big into eggs with veggies, sounds delicious. Looks amazing.
This is not a good recipe tbh. It requires a lot more sauce, the garlic shouldn’t be put together with the onion because it’ll burn, the onion itself is probably half-raw. Eh. Americans trying to do an Eastern recipe.
You can’t even pronounce it correctly.
We have shakshouka in Morocco! Power breakfast of champions for sure…so yummy!
^_^
For a non vegi version, you can substitute the eggs with chunks of a fresh dead baby foetus
This is not shuk shokah !
wayyy chunkier then it’s supposed to be…
NOT IN MY CAST IRON!!!!!!!
How is it a vegetarian dish? It has eggs in it
This is not the right recipe !!
I’m from Middle East and this one version of many recipes for this yummy dish. We usually have it on our breakfast or dinner with some pita bread. Thank you again for sharing. May God bless.
Is it always vegetarian dish?
Mmm those flavours sound good. I’d try this with pressed tofu instead of egg though.
I just made this for dinner, yum! Thank you 🙂
It will be extra yummy with some potatoes in it! 🙂
Looks amazing!
A.K.A Eggs in Purgatory
Shakshuka (Saksuka) is an eggplant dish .. We call this “menemen”
Hi I’m from Middle East and i like this recipe so much
but i wanna tell you Shacshuca is not like that its completely different from what I whachd but i still like yours ♡♡
Think youuu
this is like Mexican style, is very common, except the cheese
in the midleast its done with scrabbled egges
lovely recipe
The vegetables should be chopped very small to give a better tast.
Lol this obviously is the americanized version
never heard of bell peppers in shakshooka before its made way differently at our house n pretty much every other breakfast place in the country :/
ours is made with mincing tomatoes and onions wilting them scrambling the eggs and oh my local butter 😛 gr8 for friday family brunches with hot minty tea
The chopped bell pepper is a good add: it hadn’t occurred to me to add that. I will try it when I make this.
I might add peas as well… 🙂
